Product Maintenance Guide

At KASI, we are committed to the preservation and sustainability of our wooden and marble products. Here are comprehensive care guidelines to ensure your items remain pristine for years to come:

Wooden Products

Avoid Harsh Chemicals:  Clean your wooden products with mild, eco-friendly, and food-grade safe cleaning solutions to preserve their natural finish and sustainability.

Periodic Conditioning:  Maintain the wood's luster and prevent drying or cracking by conditioning the surfaces with natural oils. Opt for food-grade safe oils like beeswax, mineral oil, or olive oil. Apply a thin, even coat and allow it to be absorbed before wiping off any excess.

Avoid Extreme Temperatures and Humidity:  Protect wooden products from extreme temperature and humidity changes by avoiding direct sunlight, heat sources, or overly damp environments.

Use Coasters and Trivets:  Shield the surface of your wooden items from moisture and heat damage by using coasters for drinks and trivets for hot dishes.

Regular Cleaning:  Wipe wooden products regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Ensure thorough drying to prevent water damage.

Store Properly:  Store wooden items in a cool, dry place when not in use, avoiding overcrowding or stacking to preserve their integrity.

Food Safety:  If wooden products come into contact with food, ensure the conditioning oils used are food-grade safe, especially for items like cutting boards or utensils.

Inspect for Wear and Tear:  Periodically inspect wooden products for scratches or loose joints, addressing any issues promptly to prevent further damage.

Microwave and Dishwasher:  Avoid using KASI wooden products in the microwave or dishwasher, as the heat and moisture can damage the wood.

Marble Products

Gentle Cleaning: Clean marble surfaces with a soft, damp cloth to avoid scratching. Use mild dish soap and warm water for deeper cleaning, rinsing thoroughly and drying immediately.

Stain Removal: For stubborn stains, apply a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water to the affected area, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Avoid Acidic Substances: Protect marble from acidic substances like citrus fruits and vinegar, which can cause staining and etching. Wipe up spills promptly to prevent damage.

Sealing: Consider sealing marble periodically to protect it from stains and moisture. Consult a professional for the best sealing options.

Heat Protection: Use coasters or trivets under hot dishes and beverages to prevent heat damage to the marble surface.

Regular Maintenance: Keep marble surfaces free from dust and debris by wiping them down regularly with a soft cloth.

Microwave and Dishwasher: Avoid using KASI marble products in the microwave or dishwasher, as the heat and moisture can damage the surface.

Remember, proper care not only enhances the appearance of your KASI products but also contributes to their longevity and sustainability. If you have any specific concerns or questions about caring for your items, our customer service team is here to assist you.
